Success Stories

"My name is Teena and I have recently adopted a rescue boonie dog. When I first met her Almond was her name. I have since changed it to Trixie which she has accepted it for her name. I fell in love with her from the moment I held her in my arms. She is the sweetest kind and loving pet. She still gets scared at times and I think it’s from what happen to her. She was found by Satomi Munn and like I told Satomi,  God bless you for this rescue because I needed her and she needed me and you brought us together. My granddaughter wanted a chihuahua. I posted on Guahan Paws for Pets and asked if anyone had chihuahuas and the next morning I got a message from them saying Satomi does. Within that week I got a message from Satomi and I asked her to bring Almond to me so I can see her. I am handicap so I can’t drive so she did. When I held her in my arms I was stuck forever. One week passed due to a mini vacay I had planned and everyday Satomi would send me video or pictures and tears rolled down my eyes cuz I wanted her so bad. Well the week flew by fast and Monday morning came along exactly 9 am Satomi was here at the house to bring me Almond known now as Trixie and the joy , the tears and extreme happiness of love was poured into Trixie. She is well behaved, and has a lot of spunk in her. But most of all we are family. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful it feels. Thank you Satomi for her rescue"❤️

In June of 2020 a rescue mission for one boonie turned into the beginning of a new life for a different one. (Then known as )"Whitey" was not the focus of the rescue mission on this particular day on Wusstig Road, but his second chance at life benefited from the change of events. From the rescuers Lelani, Alyssa, Mari, and John's hands, to the loving foster home of Jennifer and later Marvin, this beautiful boonie was able to thrive and eventually find his forever home one year later! Max is a prime example of what the love and care from the whole efforts of the community can do for the boonies of Guam ❤️

Back in November of 2020, Tobi was rescued as a pup in the Tiyan area when he was about to cross a busy road. One of our admin, Ciera Tamayo and her son rescued Tobi and gave him a chance at life in a loving home. After being vetted by the help of AMC and the kind donations of the community, Tobi started his foster jouney which lasted a year and a half. During that time he was loved and cared for by the Munn Family and was able to develope his amazing personality that eventually won the hearts of his new family in May of 2022. Tobi is now loved and spoiled by his new family and gained a doggy sibling to bond with as well ❤️
